ABOUT NERGIS YUKSEL, THE WEDDING SEO CONSULTANT
SEO CONSULTANT FOR THE WEDDING INDUSTRY, HELPING YOU GET FOUND ONLINE AND BOOKED WITH EASE
Strategic, results-driven SEO for wedding businesses ready to stand out in search and attract the right enquiries.
Running a wedding business is about creating incredible experiences for couples, yet many business owners still spend too much time worrying about where the next enquiry is coming from or how the latest algorithm change will affect them.
I work with wedding businesses across the UK and internationally, from planners and venues to photographers and florists, helping them become visible in search, attract consistent, quality enquiries, and grow sustainably without relying on social media or exhausting marketing efforts. This means they can spend less time worrying about bookings and more time focusing on the work they love.
And the reason I care so deeply about helping wedding professionals do this?
Because long before becoming an SEO consultant, I was part of the wedding industry too.
SEO strategies tailored to wedding businesses and how they work
SEO has a reputation for being complicated, technical, and overwhelming, and honestly, much of the advice out there isn’t designed for service-based businesses like those in the wedding industry.
My approach is different.
I specialise in simplifying SEO, stripping away the jargon and focusing on what actually helps your business get found by the right clients. No cookie-cutter strategies or unnecessary complexity — just clear, strategic actions tailored to how your business works and what you want to achieve.
As a wedding SEO specialist and former planner, I understand the nuances of this industry in a way most consultants simply don’t.
I know that what couples search for as “on-the-day coordination” often isn’t what planners actually offer, because in reality you step in four to six weeks before the wedding to take over planning. So instead of forcing language that doesn’t truly reflect your service, we find smarter ways to help couples find you while setting you apart, like answering those searches through FAQs that reflect how you really work.
And simply saying you’ve worked on Jewish or Asian weddings, or adding 'Jewish wedding photographer' to your copy, isn’t enough if your website doesn’t show you understand the real flow and energy behind those celebrations, from the high-energy hora to multi-day events like mehndi or tea ceremonies that shape how suppliers plan and deliver their services.
So rather than applying generic SEO tactics, I help translate what you really do into language that helps the right couples find you, while still sounding like you.
And because today’s couples don’t just search in one place, SEO isn’t only about your website. From Google and Pinterest to Instagram and AI search tools, I take a holistic approach to your online presence, ensuring everything works together to attract consistent, quality enquiries.
So instead of constantly chasing visibility, your business becomes easier to find naturally, giving you the confidence that your marketing is working even when you’re not.
“We own a wedding venue in Devon and have worked with Nergis several times now. She is absolutely fantastic; she has a deep understanding of SEO and our business. Every time we speak with her she goes above and beyond, offering thoughtful practical advice and genuinely strategic insight.”
— Heather, Pynes House, Wedding Venue
So, how did I get there?
Long before SEO became my world, weddings were.
I spent six years working as a wedding planner, experiencing firsthand how much heart, creativity, and hard work go into every celebration, and also how much pressure sits behind the scenes, worrying about bookings and where the next enquiry will come from while still delivering at such a high level.
When the pandemic hit and the industry paused, I found myself drawn to understanding how businesses get found online. That curiosity led me into SEO, where I went on to spend over two and a half years working in-house for an international e-commerce company, building strong technical and strategic SEO expertise across large-scale websites and competitive global markets.
But while I loved the challenge, I missed the wedding industry. It’s an industry built on passion, creativity and people who genuinely care about what they do. And I knew I wanted to bring what I’d learned back to support the businesses I already loved and understood so well.
So I combined both worlds.
Over the past three years specialising in wedding SEO, I’ve worked with planners, venues, photographers, videographers, florists, caterers, celebrants, DJs and creative suppliers across the UK, Europe, Australia, the US and Mexico, helping them attract the right clients more consistently online. Many of the businesses I work with now receive the majority of their enquiries organically through search rather than relying solely on social media or last-minute bookings.
Alongside client work, I regularly run workshops and training sessions for industry memberships, communities and marketing summits, helping wedding vendors and creatives better understand SEO and organic marketing so they can finally gain the confidence to take action and improve their marketing with clarity.
Along the way, I’ve become a go-to wedding SEO specialist, particularly here in the UK, known for simplifying SEO concepts, understanding where a business wants to go, and developing bespoke strategies to help them get there.
I strongly believe that every business owner should understand the basics of SEO, whether that means implementing it themselves or simply having the confidence to understand and question the work of an SEO consultant they hire.
Because when you understand how your business gets discovered online, marketing becomes less stressful, and running your business becomes a lot more enjoyable.
LOVED BY WEDDING BUSINESSES ACROSS THE UK & BEYOND
“Her communication, knowledge, professionalism and flexibility made the whole experience easy, which, for myself, as a huge technophobe, was an accomplishment in itself, and I'm happy to say that my business's visibility, reach, and stats online have increased exponentially.”

“Working with Nergis on the SEO for my website has been amazing. In less than a year, my website's SEO really took off, and now I’m on the first page for many keywords in both Italy and the UK. This has made a big difference for my business. Investing in SEO was definitely worth it.”
— Gaetano, Wedding Videographer, UK
“Nergis is a breath of fresh air when it comes to SEO service providers. She's very knowledgeable; her model is very transparent, and she breaks down the technical bits so they're easy to understand and most importantly, we really felt she was passionate about helping our business get seen. We had fantastic results on Google rankings!”

The Foundations Behind How I Work
Simplicity & Clarity
Over the years, SEO has been presented as something highly technical and confusing, leaving many business owners feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start.
My approach strips away jargon and focuses on what actually makes a difference, so you always understand what we’re doing and why. You’ll never receive confusing reports or vague recommendations, just clear direction you can act on with confidence.
Bespoke & Strategic
Every wedding business is unique, and your SEO strategy should be too.
Each business comes with its own goals, challenges and direction, which is why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all strategies or recycled SEO plans.
SEO isn’t just about getting more traffic. It’s about attracting the right traffic. Quality over quantity, always.
Specialist
I work almost exclusively with wedding businesses, which means my work is grounded in a deep understanding of how couples actually search and choose their suppliers.
Through my background as a wedding planner and years specialising in SEO for the industry, I’ve seen firsthand how discovery journeys evolve across Google, Pinterest, Instagram and newer search platforms.
That insight allows me to build strategies that align with how couples really look for suppliers, not just how SEO textbooks say they should.
Holistic
SEO today goes far beyond your website. Relying on a single platform to bring enquiries doesn’t work anymore.
Couples now use multiple platforms to discover suppliers, from Google to Pinterest, Instagram and AI-powered search.
By taking a multi-channel approach, I help you solidify your authority, build brand awareness, and maximise your visibility across the platforms.
Commitment
SEO is a long game, not an overnight fix.
It takes thoughtful strategy, careful implementation, and an initial investment of time to build visibility that continues working for your business long after the work is done.
That’s why I work with a limited number of clients at a time, so every project receives the attention it deserves. And in return, I ask my clients to show the same commitment to implementing the strategy.
Because when SEO is done properly, it becomes one of the most valuable long-term assets in your business.
Education & Empowerment
Teaching SEO sits at the heart of everything I offer.
Whether I’m implementing changes for you or guiding you through strategy and coaching, I always explain what’s happening and why, so you feel clear and confident about how SEO works and how to support it over time.
My aim is to give you the knowledge and confidence to continue improving your SEO long after our work together ends.
Because SEO should feel empowering, not overwhelming.
